Seems a long day, but actually started quite late as usual.
I struggled through the novel "one year in the merde" until 6:45am and went to coma.
my mobile called me up with the familiar tone of "La campanella" at 9:45am.
The last day of my french lessons, pas de panic. I arrived school when all the others just finished class and went out for an aperitif together at Thierry's home. Thierry is now so used to my always-late drama, and greeted me with "Bonjour kathy, juste a l'heure comme toujours" ( just on time as usual, sure, i am so early to be only 1.5 hour late). i got my exam result which is much better than i expected, top of the class, though i really felt i was always the most lost in the class. but i know that my french journey has just started with one foot in the rose another in the merde, or whatever.
After a little aperitif surrounded by Thierry's 3 thoursand DVD, we set out for a small french restaurant at Changle Road, called Salya. A very french lunch with Entree, Plats, and Dessert at a rather decent price. Tried the prestigious dessert mentioned in my novel: Crème Brulée. I love the crisy "tictac" sound when breaking the Brulée by a small spoon.
Afterwards we headed to Jade's home, which is a 3-storey shanghainese old mansion rented for 4300 dollars every month. wow, it is really something especially with the price. i felt the whole building is like a chimney escalating to the clouds. Though 3-storey ourside, it is like 8-storey inside and never ends seems. We sat comfortably at the foot of the "chiminey", Coffee and chocolate, chattng of nothing and everything as in the class. tranquille. Are there some angels listening to us in the clouds?
my evening was devoted to a rock concert of the French band "microfilm", with the accompany of the French handsome boy with a studenty face i met in last party. I have been mentioned that i should not use real names in my blog, so i call him "Alfa". The concert was very nice also, a moment to forget some pass-by merde.
After the concert, i brought Alfa to taste my pizza préfèré at Saizeriya, and then to my jungle for two beers and an agreeable chat about French countryside and our completely different childhood. i felt my energy was gradually flowing back to my body in this really peaceful moment with all the cells of my body placed in this human-made-natural jungle including those composing my heart...
